About Coppede Quarter
nbeknownst to the majority of tourists, Rome hides an entire district filled to the brim with architectural wonders not unlike Gaudí’s Barcelona. This quarter is it. A must-see for every fan of architecture, the area was planned and built by Gino Coppedè in the early 20th century. It showcases many beautiful examples of the Art Deco style. On the buildings, you can also see a number of other historical architectural styles though, including ancient Greek, Baroque, and Art Noveau. They are often mixed together, helping create the unique atmosphere of this neighbourhood.
