About Wat Chiang Man
This charming temple is the very first temple of Chiang Mai, built already in 1297. The chedi is called the ‘Elephant Chedi’, most probably thanks to the sculptures of the elephants which seems to carry the whole building. Another interesting building is the Ho Trai – the Temple Library.
